Of course, values are only as good as the people that represent them, so we strive to support the happiness and wellbeing of our people as much as we can.

In this area, we have implemented flexible leave policies, an EAP, annual flu vaccinations, weekly fresh fruit at every site, opportunities to be involved in charitable and community-based initiatives and trained a cohort of staff in mental first aid. Plus, staff discounts, FIGS uniforms and a fun, sociable team environment.

We also strongly believe in maintaining a positive work-life balance and are constantly looking for new ways to help our staff to get the balance right. We recently reworked our rostering system to remove the requirement for on-call work for our companion animal team, who now get to enjoy a true eight-day fortnight. We continue to seek out new ways to be flexible wherever we can and maintain a trusting and highly-supportive working environment for our team.
